Public market in Newton provides space for entrepreneurs

Jerry Schwaller has an office across the way from the old Montgomery Ward building that sat vacant for years in downtown Newton.
He saw the building and all its potential and started dreaming. Inspiration struck when he and his wife were walking through the Newton farmers market on a Tuesday afternoon.
He recalls saying to his wife, Rachel, “I think that’s it. I think we need to do a farmers market in that building.”
