Erica Haack confirmed as city administrator of Prairie City

A new city administrator has been named for Prairie City, following a special city council meeting in August. Erica Haack, of Pella, was selected from a panel of two finalists to become the new city administrator. A native of Northwest Iowa, Haack was born and raised in Albert City in Buena Vista County. She will replace interim City Administrator Sue Ponder, who will remain the library director of the Prairie City Public Library.
