Board Chairman of Iowa Interstate Railroad believes Newton’s role in rail history is under-appreciated

Henry Posner III declared without arrogance or hyperbole that there is no community more connected to the railroad than Newton, Iowa. The Central Iowa town may not be mentioned as much in the history books, but Posner proclaimed this as fact. And he should know.
In addition to being board chairman of Iowa Interstate Railroad, he also happens to be an accomplished railroad photographer and an expert on train deregulation, teaching a course on the subject at Carnegie Mellon University. He is also the founder of Railroad Development Corporation, which operates around the globe.
