IEDA Awards Tax Credits for Ag Chemical Producer Planning to Build in Newton

The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) Board announced that it has awarded $495,000 in tax credits to AU Solutions, a Tulsa, Oklahoma-based agricultural chemical manufacturer, that plans to construct a $17M new facility in Newton.

AU Solutions was founded in 1995. The privately owned company manufactures chemicals for the agricultural industry, providing products such as adjuvants, inert packages, biologicals, turf and ornamental products, and micronutrients. The new facility in Newton will support continued growth and improve service to Midwest customers. It will be the only other manufacturing facility outside the company’s headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The $17 million capital investment project is expected to create 22 jobs, of which 12 have a qualifying wage of at least $29.98 per hour.
