The Alliant Energy Foundation provides support in the communities the company serves in Iowa. The Foundation’s Community Grants focus on the following areas: hunger and housing, including household needs, food and nutrition, housing and shelter, and transportation; workforce readiness, including agriculture, literacy, STEM, workforce development, and youth development and mentoring; environmental stewardship, including environmental conservation and education, trails, and parks; and community safety and engagement, including first responders, disaster readiness and relief, community events, and playgrounds. The Alliant Energy Foundation accepts applications year-round and has three annual grant deadlines: May 15, September 15, and January 15. Requests for specific events should review the grant awarded dates on the Foundation’s website. Organizations are eligible for one grant per calendar year. Grant applications are accepted online.
