Keep Iowa Beautiful to Award Scholarships

Keep Iowa Beautiful (KIB) will award three $1,000 scholarships to graduating Iowa high school seniors who plan to enroll in an Iowa college or university. Each scholarship has individual requirements regarding the student's intended major and/or community service involvement.

The Byers Scholarship will be awarded to a high senior who plans to enroll and study environmental science, community development, architecture (historical emphasis), landscape architecture, or community planning and sustainability.

The Fultz Scholarship will be awarded to a high senior who intends to enroll and study communications, public relations and/or marketing.

The Schnepf Scholarship will be awarded to a high senior who has a record of community service and a desire to continue to support and contribute to the enhancement of the place they live and work. College programs could include community and regional planning or volunteer management.

The scholarship application deadline is January 31, 2025. Scholarship recipients will be notified by April 2025.
