Did you know that the Red Rock Prairie Trail from Monroe will take you all the way to the Neil Smith Wildlife Refuge? The Neil Smith Wildlife Refuge, located at 9981 Pacific Street, Prairie City, offers 5 walking trails, a 4.5 mile bike trail, and a 5 mile auto tour. Exploring the Refuge, with its roaming bison and elk, native wildflowers, grasses, and sedges offers a perfect fall activity.
With its proximity to Prairie City, you can spend the morning biking the trails at the Refuge and then head over to Goldies for lunch.
