Registration is open for the 2025 Iowa Rural Development Summit

Registration is open for the 2025 annual Iowa Rural Development Summit, scheduled for April 10-11 at the Gateway Hotel & Conference Center in Ames.  

The Summit brings together community leaders, economic development professionals, business owners, and rural advocates for two days of plenary presentations, breakout sessions, roundtable discussions, and networking opportunities to explore innovative strategies for driving growth in rural Iowa.

As in past years, rural communities are being asked to bring a three-person team to the Summit. Three-person community teams are eligible to register at a special, discounted rate. Interested individuals can also register online.

The Summit is sponsored by the Iowa Rural Development Council (IRDC), a public-private statewide non-profit that supports small towns addressing housing, broadband access, business development, and leadership.
