The Jasper Community Foundation announced $125,000 in grants to twenty-five area nonprofit profit organizations. Recipients of the Foundation’s 2024 grants are:
- Baxter Economic Dev Corp — $8,000
- Colfax Library — $3,250
- Colfax Mainstreet — $4,000
- Colfax Park & Rec Auxiliary Board — $4,500
- Food Pantry of Colfax — $2,250
- Jasper Co Agriculture Society — $2,500
- Friends of Rock Creek — $10,000
- Friends of the Lynnville Library — $2,500
- Lynnville Historical Society — $3,000
- Lynnville Sully Comm Education Foundation — $5,000
- City of Mingo — $2,500
- City of Monroe — $2,400
- Food Bank of Iowa — $5,000
- Jasper Co Conservation — $8,100
- Jasper Co Historical Museum — $4,000
- Kick it Forward — $10,000
- Kid Assist — $6,271
- Lucy’s Pet Pantry — $2,500
- MercyOne — $5,000
- Newton Arboretum — $8,000
