The Greater Des Moines Partnership will hold its first Regional Summit, aimed at connecting urban, suburban, and rural communities, on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Iowa State Fairgrounds William C. Knapp Varied Industries Building. The Partnership invites area community, business, and civic leaders to discuss regional challenges, opportunities, and key issues impacting the region. Programming and speakers for the Summit are being finalized and will be announced at a later date.

The Regional Summit will conclude with The Partnership's annual Economic Impact Awards. A forty-year tradition, the Economic Impact Awards recognize local companies for their contribution toward the economic and community vitality of Greater Des Moines (DSM). Summit attendees are welcome to attend the annual Awards with their Summit registration or select to attend the Summit only. All are invited to register for the Awards.
