On August 6th, Senator Joni Ernst, Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Small Business & Entrepreneurship, will present the Entrepreneur Expo on Tuesday, August 6, from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Iowa State University's Memorial Union. The goal of the Expo is to introduce Iowa’s small businesses to the federal marketplace and provide attendees an opportunity to learn how to sell their goods and services to the federal government and engage with federal innovation-focused programs, such as the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.
The Expo is open to the public and suitable for small businesses interested in working with the federal, state, or local government. No experience with government contracts is necessary. Attendance is free, but registration is required. To learn more or register online, visit the Expo page on Senator Ernst’s website.
