Cassie Cook, Ecologist with Polk County Conservation, will share the history of the Chichaqua Bottoms Greenbelt and talk about this wildlife area that encompasses over 8,300 acres of wetlands, prairies, woodlands, old Skunk River oxbows, and extends into Jasper County.
The OWLS program is a conservation program that encourages seniors to stay active and learn new things about the natural world.
