The celebration begins Friday evening, December 12, with MercyOne’s Jingle for a Cure Run, (register here) then continues all day Saturday with activities across town.
Do some holiday shopping at Newton Main Street’s Winter Wonderland Market hosted at Newton’s DMACC Campus, and at businesses throughout the downtown square.
Saturday evening, visit Maytag Park for Enchanted Nights, Holiday Lights. Stroll through sparkling light displays at no cost or purchase a one-horse open sleigh for two, a horse-drawn carriage ride, or a hayrack ride tour through the lights.
