RAGBRAI Day 5
On RAGBRAI Day 5, riders will be in Jasper County.
- Altoona
- Mitchellville
- Colfax
- NEWTON – MEETING TOWN
- Kellogg
- Grinnell
The riders will take County Road F48, first to Colfax, then to Newton. The 159 exit to I-80 will be closed as the cyclists bike to Newton on Highway 6 (F48W) from the Colfax area.
The City of Colfax will host a beer garden outside of City Hall, 20 W Howard Street.
The City of Newton is a Meeting Town and will host entertainment and activities downtown. Riders will leave Newton by 3 o'clock. Visit Newton's RAGBRAI website for information about activities and events.
From Newton, riders will take Highways 6 and 224 to Kellogg. They will pass through Kellogg and the Rock Creek Lake area on their way to Grinnell.
