May Clay Class

Learn to throw pots on the wheel in this introductory class.

The class will focus on throwing cylinders on the pottery wheel that can be turned into mugs or other objects. If you can already throw, you are free to make other forms.

Your pieces will be trimmed, dried, and fired after the class, and you’ll be invited to return in about two weeks to glaze your work. A final visit will be scheduled for you to pick up your finished pieces.

The cost is $50 per person, with a $10 non-refundable deposit required to hold your spot. All the steps required for your pottery are included in the cost: instruction, clay, studio work time, trimming, glaze, and two firings.
