Registration for the trail race and fun run/walk is from 8:00-8:45 a.m. at Ahrens Access in Jacob Krumm Nature Preserve.
Races begin at 9:00 a.m. Grass surfaces will cushion the strides of runners as they experience the tall grass prairie, woodlands, and maybe even some wildlife!
Immediately following the events, snacks and refreshments will be served and prizes will be awarded.
The first, second, and third place winners of each of the age categories for the 6K and 3K race will receive awards. Categories are: 14 and younger, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
Proceeds from the trail race will serve to benefit the natural resources and sustainability of Jasper County through the help of the non-profit group, Jasper Conservation Connection.
