Grow Solar program for Jasper County starts in May

Starting May 15, homeowners, farmers, and business owners in Jasper County can access a solar installation program. Through a group buying approach, community members can see significant purchasing discounts that make installing solar more affordable and help reduce energy costs. The program is coordinated by the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, 1000 Friends of Iowa, and the Nature Conservancy in Iowa and made possible with community support from Jasper County, the city of Prairie City, and the city of Newton.
