Registration is now open for the Iowa Veterans Entrepreneurship Conference, which will be held on May 3 and 4 at the Iowa State University Research Park Core Facility in Ames. The conference will begin at 5 p.m. on May 3 with a welcome reception and will continue with workshops, networking, and keynote sessions from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 4.

Veterans, active duty, reserve military, National Guard, military families, and their business partners will have the opportunity to participate in workshops, connect with business advisors, and gain access to business information and resources. The conference will include two optional pitch competitions, allowing attendees to present a pitch about an idea or business to a panel of judges. The conference's keynote speaker will be Allen Lazard, NFL player and founder of At the Top for Vets.

Lazard's Foundation has underwritten registration fees for the conference, so registration is free for veterans, military personnel, their families, and business partners. However, spots are limited; early registration is encouraged.
