Bing: The Making of a Canine Movie Star

Owner-trainer and Newton resident, Bev Klingensmith, and movie star Bing, will be at the Newton Arboretum & Botanical Gardens to tell the story behind the making of the movie, The Friend. 

The Friend, starring Bill Murray, Naomi Watts, and introducing Bing, is based on the New York Times bestselling novel by Sigrid Nunez and is in theatres now. 

The event will include a live auction offering SIGNED copies of The Friend, a framed movie poster with Bing's pawtigraph, movie pet kerchiefs, and a large cardboard cutout of the star himself, Bing. All proceeds benefit the Newton Arboretum.
