The Fishing Derby is free, but registration and waiver are required. Registration includes lunch for kids and accompanying adults.
The derby is catch-and-release. All fish must immediately be turned over to derby officials and released after being measured.
Participants must do all the casting, reeling and landing of the fish by themselves. The adult may assist with baiting the hook, removal of fish from the hook or lure once the fish has been landed by the participant, fixing tackle, and perform any action required to ensure the well being and safety of the participant.
