Prairie City Library is Writing Its Next Chapter
10 Jun 2021
Prairie City Public Library is raising funds to renovate and relocate the library and it asking for community support.
Library Director, Sue Ponder explains, "Expanding our library will allow us to grow our physical collection, the programs we offer, and the number of people who can attend. The move to a larger building will offer private study areas, a space for meetings, and room for each area of our collection to grow. It also will result in a centralized area for city services and contribute to the revitalization of our downtown area. We are excited for the future of the Prairie City Public Library and look forward to our next chapter serving the patrons of the Prairie City Area."
